About Me

Erica Mears: I'm a blessed, 37-year-old mother of five beautiful children. After giving birth to my fourth child in 2017, I felt prompted to start this blog. I didn't know anything about blogging, I didn't want to start a blog, and the thought of sharing my thoughts with the world made me feel so uncomfortable. For weeks I fought my promptings, but I finally submitted to the Lord's will and started sharing. Little did I know that 9 months later, I would fall down the stairs, sustaining a brain injury that would rock my entire world for many years (8+ years and counting). It's humbling to see how the blog posts I was inspired to write initially were messages that I would need personally for this trial. After my injury, I had to take a break from blogging, but God asked me to continue sharing via a Podcast. Again, no part of me wanted to share my demons and sufferings with the world! However, I've determined that if sharing my thoughts can help even one person who may be deeply suffering, it will always be worth it. Each time I write/podcast, I pray it will reach “the one.”
