Erica Mears: I'm a blessed, 36-year-old mother of five beautiful children. After giving birth to my fourth child in 2017, I felt prompted to start this blog. I didn't know anything about blogging, I didn't want to start a blog, & the thought of sharing my thoughts with the world made me feel so uncomfortable. For weeks I fought my promptings, but I finally submitted to the Lord's will and started sharing. Little did I know that 9 months later, I would fall down the stairs, sustaining a brain injury that would rock my entire world for many years (7+ years & counting). It's humbling to see how the blog posts I was inspired to write initially were messages that I would need personally for this trial. After my injury, I had to take a break from blogging, but God asked me to continue sharing via a Podcast. Again, no part of me wanted to share my demons & sufferings with the world! However, I've determined that if sharing my thoughts can help even one person who may be deeply suffering, it will always be worth it. Each time I write/podcast, I pray it will reach “the one.”
